One of my favorite restaurants in Platanias! There is a wonderful service and delicious food. Definitely a recommendation from here. Have visited the place several times on my holidays to Crete and it is just as good every time.

We visited twice as we enjoyed our first meal so much.
Excellent service and beautiful food. On our second visit the hostess very kindly offered me a fan to cool down. She realised I was overheating That’s excellent customer service and thoughtful.
The complimentary panna cotta was delicious too!
Well worth a visit and would definitely recommend it.

A real culinary experience that remains unforgettable! Symposium combines authentic Cretan flavors with creative touches that take you on a journey. I particularly liked the fig dish – an unexpected but harmonious combination that makes you want to try it again – the talagani and the sirloin steak. The ribs with BBQ sauce were also impressive, a dish that proves that tradition and innovation can coexist perfectly.
The desserts… amazing! You don't know which one to try first. The service is friendly, attentive and prompt, while the place exudes warmth and hospitality. The prices are very good for a restaurant of this level, which shows practical respect for the customer. A place worth visiting again and again.

We cannot rate this restaurant more highly. Food was out of this world and would even say Michelin level at reasonable prices. Staff were fantastic especially Michael who looked after us as we worked are way through the menu on each visit. Thank you for making our stay special with such good food and service!

There are cheaper places to eat in Platanias, but the quality of the food and service make it worth the price. We were 6 adults and 6 children who ate. Everyone was very satisfied! The Sea Bass is highly recommended.

We dined at this restaurant for dinner during a trip to Platanias.
We chose it primarily for its presentation: simple yet elegant and tranquil, it still offers a sense of tranquility in a vibrant part of town.
Being a group of four adults and four children, we opted for a mix of fish, burgers, and various appetizers, so it was a fairly varied order.
I must say that, aside from the fast and efficient service, we were impressed by the quality of the dishes, served by attentive, polite, and very helpful staff.
Excellent value for money, although perhaps a little higher than the average for the area.
Unfortunately, I can't attach the photos I took due to issues with my smartphone.

Fantastic food and beautiful plating we both ordered Bruschetta for starters, but the waiter recommended that we order different ones, and recommended tuna with avocado. Both tasted amazing. For main course we had lamb shank with mashed potatoes and beef tender loin, both dishes were in style for starters. Crème brûlée with ginger and chocolate soufflé made a perfect end to a lovely 3-course meal. Good wine and nice atmosphere dice roll 6 from us.

Very nice restaurant, super friendly staff and the food was fantastic. We all chose to eat fish this evening.
The food was incredibly tasty and well prepared and everyone was very happy. The service was excellent. The food came quickly.
Even though we were sitting right outside by the road, it was quiet.
Booking a table is a tip.

We ate bruschetta and drank prosecco for starters, seabass, salmon and white wine for main course.

Stopped by several times during our stay in Plantanias and tried several dishes, all were equally tasty. The signature coffee was fantastic.
